Further Clubhouse refurbishment (28 December)
Below are the latest pictures of the bar area at the club. You will notice Ann propping up the bar. We have fitted doors between the bar and the function room, the walls have been repapered and the varnish refreshed. All that is left in there now is to varnish the new doors and recover the seats.
We are well on with the improvements to the function room.
The clubhouse will be open at the following times for people to inspect our handiwork.
Weekdays:6pm to 11pm
New Years Eve: 8pm to 1am
New Years day: 12noon to 3pm

Clubhouse refurbishment (21 November)
The refurbishment of the clubhouse continues apace. We now have a new dance area and have had offers of carpeting at a reduced price. We have a new cloth to recover the seats in the bar and the function room. The broken windows are in the process of being replaced.
Transfer News (8 October)
Yorkshire Amateur are pleased to announce that Wayne Hudson has returned, Wayne left the club to join Glashoughton Welfare at the end of last season. Wayne made his return in the 1-4 defeat to Dinnington last Saturday (6th October). Jaques Joblon has left Yorkshire Amateur and signed for AFC Emley. Jacques had previously played for Frickley Athletic and Garforth Town before joining Yorkshire Amateur in the summer.

Members of Executive Committee: Mr Dave Packham, Mr Tony Dean, Mr Dave Cousins, Miss R Packham, Miss S Packham, Mr R Packham, Mr Paul Emmerson
Despite all the promotion of the meeting, the ones who have been moaning (for want of a better word) on the web site did not come along to put themselves forward to help the club with their knowledge and expertise. They would have joined the Executive without ballot as there are 5 vacancies still open before an election would be needed.
If they still want to help the club they could be co-opted onto the Executive.
